About

Max Jonah Cutler is a writer based in New York. He grew up in Connecticut, studied Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and German at Penn, then spent six years in Berlin working in technology and writing about innovation and culture.

He has written across many domains, from copywriting to writing and directing short video content to due dilligence for leading investment funds, always with a particular focus on essays and long-form.

His work tends to take on an ethnographic bent–analytical with a poetic flavor–always striving to capture the spirit of the thing.

Max has written extensively about the European tech ecosystem, embedded finance with category leader Swan, music/art, along with personal essays.

Max has also edited dozens of pieces with friends and collaborators, earning rave reviews for his punctiliousness and creative thinking.
